Wishing all (both? :-)) my readers a Very Happy & Prosperous Diwali!! May the coming year bring you everything you wish for (and may that focus on happiness more than prosperity)!
Thanks a ton for the Wishes.. a belated Happy diwali to you too. I still have stern on my mind but pushed down to R2. And a lot depends on R1, but I am feeling a bit confident about R1 so lets see :)
The reason i asked about Ian Giddy was that he had collected some fine resources about asset backed securities and mortgage backed securities. I do understand the NYU has great professors (atleast going by their books and workpapers, as i have not met them personally) like Prof. Damodaran and Prof R.F. Engle but their line of work and research is not in tandem with my line of career (sorry if i have put it bluntly). Are there any professors who do research in real estate (e.g. CMBS/CDO)?. I could access their pages at stern through internet.

Hi
A quick question
Hs Prof. Ian Giddy left NYU? he is (was?) a professor of finance... I do not see any reference of him in the faculty list at the website.
